Today I am sharing a layout using the Ole collection from Sabor Papel. My little sister visited me last year for her birthday and I was so happy to celebrate it with her. I didn’t get a chance to create a layout using her birthday photo but I got inspire right away when I saw the colors of the paper  and they matched the balloons in the photos.

For this layout, I really wanted to pull the colors from the picture. The Ole collection from Sabor Papel was perfect for this layout.

I started by cutting out 6 zigzag 3 by 4 squares, (I got them from the silhouette design store).I wanted to create the embellishments with the paper so I also used my Silhouette machine to cut out butterflies,hearts,flowers, and flags. ( I knew right away that I wanted to layer the embellishments ) I was thinking of things that my sister likes and how to bring her personality out with this layout . If you look at the layout closely you can see that I have a white cardstock paper underneath the embellishments . On that white card stock I just took watercolor and splashed it all over the cardstock ( that was fun ). I cover most of it but It looks fun when you only get to see a little of it ( Plus it was better than just the plain white cardstock ). I also used a flower by the photo and the celebrar (celebrate) cardstock cutouts that comes with the Ole Collection Kit  and then I added glitter to a couple little shapes in the layout too .

Thank you for coming over! I think it turned out really nice, I am super happy with the result . I will probably frame it and put in somewhere in my living room .
