When creating a layout, do you go for the more busy papers in the collection or do you stick to the ones that don’t have much going on/ playing it safe?? I was a little scared when I started this layout but I love the end results . I added elements to help some of the images stand out. I love the way it turned out. Life is lovely layout using the Crate Paper Heritage Collection by Maggie Holmes!
Let’s get started!

I started by flipping through all the 12 by 12 papers that I have and decided to use the keepsake paper. It’s a very busy paper but I wanted some of the elements to stand out even more . I used LIFE is lovely for my title – chipboard stickers . Easy name, already ready for me to use, haha! Around my title I added paper flowers , butterflies with gold glitter And the phrase ‘These are the moments I want to keep in my heart forever’ from the ephemera pack. Little details that spoke to me because of the photo.

On the top left of the page,I added profile stickers of a boy and a girl. After that, I moved to the right of the page creating another cluster with chipboard hearts and card stock stickers. The background was already busy so I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to adding to make it stand out!

Moving to the Bottom left where I displayed the photo of my two favorites in the world. The background in that area was already a little darker than the other sides to the photo really stand out, I added card stock stickers and phrases around the photo from the collection,

For the middle bottom, the page already had a butterflies,I added the word gathered and chipboard camera from the chipboard stickers for a little dimension.

The last rectangle of the 12 by 12 page I added one of the velum envelopes from the cards and envelopes stationary pack and embellished with more card stickers . That is were I am going to be doing my private writing for Savanna to read in the future, when she is flipping through the pages of the family albums.
