Hi crafty friends,
Happy Saturday!
Today, I’m sharing this project-—scenes on cards – I created a little video on my Instagram Story showing how I did it.
I was over on the Simon Say stamp blog looking at all the beautiful cards people created and I was inspired to create scenes on a card, of course without the stamping and Coloring.
———————————————————————————–
I started by getting the embellishments- you can find those at American crafts digital. I fuzzy cut all the Ephemera.
Pebbles – Along The Way Collection – Epoxy and Wood Stickers
1 Canoe 2 – Goldenrod Collection – 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper- Meadow Floral
I went over to my Silhouette Cameo and cut a 4 by 6 square and centered a circle. That’s where I’m creating the scenes, the anchor of all the embellishments. You can decide if you would like them tucked in or out of the circle.
I did a little stitching with my sewing machine, to frame the card and for some of them I backed up the circle – you can leave it white or showing the color of the cardstock you chose.
After, I added the base of the card to the cover with foam sheets and also added some foam adhesive squares behind the bits and pieces for dimension.
Putting the finish touches to the cards, I added Glossy Accents to the little animals. Now, they are ready for you to share with loved ones.
